Early Years/PrimaryProgramming for this age group includes a mix of drumming, dance, song and story telling. Students will learn fundamental and basic rhythms through body movements and the folklore of the West African culture. A relaxed and peaceful dynamic within the group is achieved through a delicate balance of song and rhythm.

Junior/IntermediateThis programming is designed to cultivate awareness of each individual's role within music. Jamie's approach elicits the inherent potential that is within each student to succeed in playing both basic and complex rhythms. The sense of accomplishment that is derived from this fosters a sense of self-awareness and confidence in communication both musically and non-musically. Culture, song and dance are entwined within this program to balance the experience. This programming can be of immense benefit to the general student body as well as students identified as high risk.

SecondaryThis program emphasized a broader aspect of community, mentorship, self-direction and focus. It incorporates a similar level of rhythmic complexity as the Junior/Intermediate programming while addressing a greater level of mutual respect for one another within the group. By making students accountable for their role within the rhythm, this program fosters the student's sense of personal responsibility to their peers and the greater community. This model also helps students to develop leadership roles within the group.
